The Canadian-Georgian Chamber of Commerce Inc. (CGCC) is a Canadian federal not-for-profit corporation. As a non-governmental, volunteer-based business association, CGCC represents the interests of the Canadian organizations in Georgia and Georgian organizations in Canada with a voice of independent expertise perceptible to all players.
Promote, support and advocate
For the development and expansion of two-way entrepreneurship, bilateral trade, commerce, and direct investments between Canada & Georgia.
Serve as a facilitator and a gateway
To business, cultural and social development between Canada and Georgia.
Serve as a central point of contact
For organizations exploring bilateral economic, entrepreneurial or cultural relations between Canada and Georgia.
Provide expert-level & practice-oriented services
At fair conditions to support Canadian companies in doing business with Georgia and vice versa.
Represent the interests
Of the Canadian organizations in Georgia and Georgian organizations in Canada with a voice of independent expertise perceptible to all players.
Develop and maintain strong relationships
With Canadian and Georgian Government agencies, policymakers, and respective embassies in matters relating to trade, industry, commerce, education, and culture between the two countries.
The CGCC aspires to establish itself as the foremost credible authority on all aspects of entrepreneurship, trade and investment between Canada and Georgia (the South Caucasus region), serving as a central point of contact for organizations exploring bilateral economic, entrepreneurial or cultural & educational relations between Canada and Georgia and being a facilitator and a gateway to business, cultural and social development between the communities of the two countries.
For the benefit of the members and to further its mission, CGCC assists and facilitates the following:
Information and knowledge exchange about both countries and various collaborative opportunities.
Meaningful introductions and connections between people of both countries;
Scholarly colloquial, topical seminars and regular networking events.
Canadian trade mission trips to Georgia and Georgian trade mission trips to Canada.
Individual fact-finding, exploratory visits.
